95 dodge neon

I have a 95 dodge neon last night my engine started
to make as really weird noise almost like something
was stuck or grinding together then I noticed that
engine was getting super hot which never
happened before it was all the way to the max line
so I put coolent in thinking it would help now this
morning I start the car the noise is much worse and
my heat now isn’t work anyone know what might be
causing this?

You likely overheated and ruined your engine. Have a local mechanic look at it to determine what the issue is.
