Any 318/360 should fit without much trouble, I can't remember but the Magnum and LA 318/360 may use different engine mounts. Also you can put almost any Dodge engine into any Dodge,Plymouth,Chrysler, etc, the exception being the HEMI as it is too wide for some. I hope this is of some help to you

Well I just swaped a 318 into my 93 it's actualy a very easy swap any year 318 or 360 if ya wanna go big will bolt right in but it would be easyest if say your truck is multiport injection you want a 318 with multiport injection also and don't go spending a bunch of money on a new wiring harness all you have to do is reroute the harness on the trans and you can easily get you an extra ten inches so you can fit it around the intake manifold and just get 2 injectors from a junk yard and the harnesses for them. The injectors share common power and are witched ground side controlled so all you have to do is wire it to the PCM (witch you will have to replace with a v8 PCM out of either a Dakota or ram van) you will have to look at a wiring diagram in like a haynes book or on the comp to see wat pins it is in the PCM I believe it pons 17 for cylinder 7 and 18 fr cyl 8 but don quote me on that. Now the next thing is are you building a race car or a truck for hualin wieght cuz if you want to have good track times leave the v6 rear on it cuz it accelerates much quicker but at the same time at highway speed you will be at like 3000 rpm of your building for hualing your gonna want the v8 rear
