Question type: Car Customization

I bought this  a few moths ago.  Runs great but it was a commercial vehicle and
there must be some kind of governor.  It has trouble going up hills and getting
on the freeway.  If its not in drive, it will throtle up to high rpms, but in gear it
bogs and even back fires if I depress the throtle too much.  What kind of fixes are
there?

sounds like it needs a tune up . as far as the governor get a programmer or chip and it will get rid of it ...
