2000 ford windstar wouldnt start. Kept clicking like a dead battery but still wouldnt start after jumping. Replaced battery and now it only clicks once and wont start. Has the starter gone out?

No, not really. The starter is bolted in very tight, but if you crossed the pos. & neg. terminals, you could blow some circuits, and the solenoid for the starter, & hopefully not damage the ecm.

Also it sounds like you may have some bad connections, check ground wire connections especially...

Most likely the starter just needs to be replaced. Have someone tap on starter with a hammer while trying to start vehicle at the same time if vehicle starts replace starter.
