HI MY FORD BUNTAM CVH ENGINE STARTS BUT DOES NOT IDLE

throttle position sensor ? ? If it has one and there are no other known problems then you can replace it , But I would pay the price get an OEM part if you do , rock auto perhaps

Bantam with a CVH engine, is the same as the 1981/2 Escort with a carburator system. Check the idle jets in the carburetor. These could be blocked. These engines dont really have the full Engine Management system. Check also the idle selonoid and wiring.
