1992 geo prizm but is is an lsi,gsi or something else? how can I tell.

Idle is terrible needs new spark plugs. not sure what to buy. female. thanks
guys. What should I get? Original was the AC Delco 41-801 but local parts
guy says the NGK Irridium 6418. Are these both pre-gapped and is it really
worth the money to get the NGK since it runs so rough? I only know it is the
spark plugs because someone pulled them out, gapped them wrong and then
realized and gapped them right and it did make it better. Just for a laugh,
when I went to a local shop, the so called mechanics had never added anti-
freeze directly to the radiator. They had never heard of such. Oh my
goodness. HELP.

NGK is worth the money but always double check the gapping also when changing plugs get new distributor caps and spark plug wires. Hopefully it is what you were having problems with,
