The Pontiac A-body lineup in 1970 inculdes the Tempest, Tempest T-37, Tempest GT-37, Lemans, Leman Sport, GTO and the GTO Judge. The Tempest T-37 was built only the second half of 1970 and was only available as a 2-dr. All other Tempest models were still called Tempests, as they were during the first half of 1970, but in 1971 the Tempest name was dropped and there were only LeMans' and T-37s. The 1970 1/2 Tempest T-37 came with a bench seat and either vinyl with cloth insert upholstery, or solid vinyl upholstery. It has different door panels from the GTO and Lemans Sport. It had the option of 250ci inline 6 cylinder, 350-2bbl V8, 400-2bbl V8 or 400-4bbl V8 with options of 2 speed powerglide, TH350 (for the 250 or 350), TH400. or 3-or-4 speed manual transmissions. The GTO was an entirely different car, with different engine options.
