In 1970 there were only 1419 T-37 made. They are 1970 1/2 This is info from some GM enginers my sister-inlaw worked with. PHS was not much help on this model. It was made due to the Insurance cost for the GTO. You could order all the GTO OPPS. on it and Insure it as a Tempest. I have had several ads on web sites and only had 6 replys.

I owned a 1970 Tempest T37 400 4speed. Bought it off the showroom floor in June 1970. Paid a whopping 3050 dollars for it.Hillbilly you are absolutely right about those badges for 1970. Metal Tempest with T37 decals under.

I own a 70 T37. It has a metal "Tempest" emblem and metal "T37" beneath it. No decals. Car was repainted prior to my purchase, but believe emblems to be correct.
