Asked by Fennwick64 Jun 20, 2014 at 10:30 AM about the 2006 GMC Envoy

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2006 envoy started cranking slow and progressed more to where it almost doesn't start. I had the battery checked its OK. Its 18 months old. Any idea?

Check all ends of your battery cables. Clean the battery posts & the ends of the battery cables even if they look good. Check the large cable connection on the starter. If possible remove the starter for testing.
