I just bought a 2009 manual lancer es and was wondering  
about some good beginner things to start suping this car
up. I have tint and thats pretty much it. All stock.

Pretty much looks because im not putting much money into performance as it is not really worth it. Unless its something not too crazy, as I want to put my money into a Subaru in the future

Go for lowering springs and a nice wheel and tire combo with a semi low profile tire, 16" with 40 or 45 series profile should not only fit without scrubbing but look good and increase your handing making the car more fun to drive. If you shop smart you can probably do it all for $1000
