Question type: General

My 04 yukon xl wont go on drive or reverse
but if i but it in 1st it will move but make a
clicking noise and its a automatic and
2wheel drive and traction light comes on
please help

Check and see if your brake light fuse is blown because I know with some vehicles if the brake light is blown it will not send power to Solenoid to release shifter. Now whenever you start the car and press the brake you should either hear or feel a click if (Solenoid) releasing trans shifter.
