do i have a rod knock ?

i have a 99 ford mustang 3.8l
and i was told it has a rod knock. my neighbor has onne of those code
readers and it came up withe the fuel shut off valve and the cam shaft postion
sensor codes, the emgine does knock but do you think its a rod knock orb just
those two parts ive replaced the fuel shutt just need to get the cam shaft

A rod knock is a pretty distinctive sound if you know what it is. It will be a hard knock rather than the tap-tap like noise that lifters make. If you have a rod knock then stop driving the car or you will have a rod through the side of your engine block pretty soon.
