I have a 99 mustang v6 and I blow out the diff and I can only find a 89
mustang to get the parts from are they the same

You probably have a 7.5" rear differential in the V6 car. The V8 cars had the 8.8" differential. I would swap out an entire rear axle from a V8 car if it were mine to do.

    I put a new rear end gear in 3 months ago and 4 new tires, i have no tread on the inside of the rear tires and the rear end sways on dry roads and 10 times worse when wet. feels like driving on ice.
