please dont do the ZR-2 mod, it is way too common of a conversion, and you can do similar things for cheaper using kits you can find at many web sites. stylintrucks.com has a few different ways to mod them and partstrain.com has pretty much anything but suspension lift kits sadly. but, just make sure that if you do decide to lift your truck more than 3-4 inches that you look into pivoting the rear axel as it may put a lot of stress on the driveshaft to have it at such an angle.

if you really want to do a zr1 conversion kit dont let anyone stop you "cause there are too many around" if thats what you want to do with your truck you should do it. its your truck you do what you want to do with it. i own a 2002 sonoma sls which i did a motor swap to a 5.3 litre v8 from a 2002 silverado project isnt done yet but it turns heads right now im into it for about 3000 dollars also putting a camshaft out of a zo6 corvette, a nitrous oxide system and possibly a turbo. you are limited to your imagination and wallet
