2000 gmc jimmy antifreeze leak behind passenger tire.

Asked by Michael Nov 07, 2020 at 11:49 AM about the 2000 GMC Jimmy

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 gmc jimmy that leaks behind the
passenger tire. I dont believe its the heater core. It
seems to be coming from the hole i show in the
pictures. Is there supposed to be a plug in that
hole?

Looking at the picture, the bolt sitting in front of the hole....is the bolt hole cracked next to it?

That's a definite crack, that could very well be where you're leaking coolant instead of the hole you previously mentioned
