Is there a way to open the rear (all the way back) doors of a '99 suburban from inside the vehicle?

Question type: General

We own a '99 GMC Suburban and for the life of me, I cannot find a way to open
the rear (back) doors from inside the cargo bed.  We use this occasionally as a
camper and it would be nice to open the back doors rather than the side doors
to exit.

Open each door part way, there is a hasp that you pull toward the inside of truck on the hinge side. Pull the hasp as you are opening the door and it will release the door to open all the way. Do same for other door.
