How to fix a 98 gmc sierra 1500 gas tank

My truck is having issues and i need some advice. Once it hits a
quarter tank of gas it starts to cugg. What could be effecting it? If

May be out of gas,at 1/4 of tank,guage may be wrong,or when it get ,s that low fuel sock on fuel pump draw,s trash to it.
