while driving it just quit running i have spark but still wont even fire not even spraying starting fluid in carb replaced feul pump and plugs wire cap and rotor what should i do next

I think the sign of quit running, may have explained it,if you have replaced all you say you have,then you might better check your timing.Chain may have jumped.

It,did not break,it jumped,and yes rotor will turn like that,but chain is not broke,it just jumped,my theory anyway,you have to verify it.

With vortec never spray starter fluid down the intake. If it backfires thru intake even just a little bit you will take out (crack, break, explode, mangle) the spider injectors and intake. They are plastic. Take a close look at your intake. Mine had visible cracks from spraying starter fluid in it. So my main problem was the fuel pump to start with but after the use of starter fluid in intake I had to also install spider injectors and intake.

You learn from your mistake,s ,,not the best way to learn but it will stick with you ; ) i know thats how i learned a lot to dandy.

what does it mean if it shots gas out carb when trying to start it

On that engine I feel you have an upper intake issue. Probably spider injectors all messed up due to the use of starting fluid.
