Question type: Maintenance & Repair

when completly stopped my Jimmy has started revving up to 1000RPM and even with my foot on the brake it is wanting to jump forward. I have yet to look at my air intake, any other ideas of what it might be before i take that apart?? the only thing i can think of is fuel is leaking into the throttle body, but i have to check to see for spots before i can be sure.. thanks hope someone has something!

possible throttle body gasket bad causing to much air to get into intake manifold, loosen the three bolts that hold the throttle to the intake and inspect the gasket. Very common problem
