My Ford Explorer is stuck in 4w low how do i get to regular drive or auto

Try driving back and forth a little in a straight line. Stop and try and shift again. Manual shifters can take a lot of force to shift. If it is electric shift try driving back and forth as well.

You can remove the shift motor from the transfer case and manually shift it into 2h with a pair of pliers.

I have a 2002 4 X4 Ford sports Trac stuck in 4 wheel drive low. Anybody have any suggestions? Thank you my email is Arthur Young63@gmail.com
