1998 Explorer intermittent failure

window will not work, wipers will  not work, will not go into four wheel drive,  
problem is intermittent.   Is this the computer

Have the computer scanned,there should be code,s stored to let you know the issue.

If the problem is electronic or electrical the problem can not be diagnosed unless the condition is present. Best bet is to bring it to a repair facility when the condition is present and leave the engine running when you get there.
