I having trouble with my ac!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok so we put a new
compressor on and a new
blower relay thing on the
firewall and the plug that
goes into the relay isnt
getting hot BUT when we
test the plug it lights up and
when we run a wire to the
battery from the plugin the
vents will blow does anyone
have any idea what's wrong
could it be that the relay on
the firewall that I just bought
is bad? Sorry if this doesn't
make much since it doesn't
to me either. Any help would
be greatly appreciated , we
live on a fixed income and
cant afford to a shop.
