vapor lock

you have a pressure valve on the fuel rail,push it in to let the air out of the gas line or your fuel filter could be stoped up.cars today do not vapor lock,it used to be you could pour cold water on the fuel pump,but this was befor the electric fuel pump.

I have to second the comment stating that new vehicles do not vapor lock. Fuel injection systems use a fuel vapor recirculation system combined with a venting gas cap that make vapor lock almost impossible. I would make sure you are using the right gas cap (I am pretty sure only one was offered). Other than that, we need more information on your problem to help you.

I have a 1999 Ford Mustang V6 3.8 that also had the same symptoms. I agree that newer generation cars aren’t supposed to vapor lock but it sure seems like that’s what it’s doing.

My 94 mustang is doing the same thing and I don’t know how to fix it

I'm sorry to tell you guys but mustang's and newer cars do some times have a tendency of vapor locking I have one 2000 mustang and I do have the same problem I just changed the valve on top of the line that goes to the injectors hopefully that will take care of it .

Solved...... Well in my case anyways my car is a v6 before I bought it someone put duel exhaust on it........ Dumb asses ran right hand pipe to close to the fuel line .....
