Vibration

Asked by lilkotasgma Jun 26, 2013 at 07:37 PM about the 1998 Ford Mustang

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 98 Mustang GT - replaced with a rebuilt engine 9 months ago, new tires 8 months ago and new clutch and throwout bearing 4 months ago. I've had some funny popping occasionally when starting in 1st gear or in reverse...had a pop the other day and now I have a really bad vibration, getting worse with everyday. No more popping, had tires balanced and today while driving if I push in the clutch is vibrates worse..What could be causing this.  Thank you

Take it back to the person who did the clutch. Have the installation checked. However you did not state where you can feel the vibration so this may not be the correct direction.
