Do you mean it is not taking gas when you accelerate?

Sounds like a plugged fuel filter, fuel pump not sending enough pressure or timing off.

you're so right mark i changed the fuel filter on the firewall but stuttering(flat spotting )was still happening but slight so yes i feel it is those 2 things.not quite sure how to check my timing

Yours does have a distributor. You can turn it to raise or lower the timing. Try turning it and when the idle raises you are advancing the timing. That is what you need to do. If this doesn't help the spark advance in the distributor may be bad and you need to replace the distributor.

Advance it by loosening the bolts that hold the dist. and turn it. You won't be able to advance it enough to need a timing light.
