Radio internal power supply may have taken a dump. This isn't that unusual.

There is a Product update for those accords, the internal circuit board fails and you need to go to the dealership to have them put a new updated board in, i believe there is an extended warranty on those and it should be covered, these can only be replaced under customer complaint though, you can't have them replaced to prevent this from hapening,

the TSB for your car states replacement is covered until 100,000 miles.... however because of the vaughn class actiont lawsuit in which it was proven that some odometers (yours) were all off by 5%.... all Honda warrantees are extended 5%... so you are good untill 105,000 miles.

My dealership refused to do it. Said I'd have to pay for it. First they made me pay for another service before they'd give me an answer as to whether or not they'd do it. Then once I had them do my brakes, they said they wouldn't fix it. Honda of Spokane.

That happened on my 2018 Civic today. Turn the car on, turn the radio on, and push in the button in the top left corner of the radio that has a sun/moon on it. Hold it in for a second, it should fix the problem. If not push it a second time and hold it in a second and the screen should reappear. I had to call the sales lady that sold me the car to find this out. Her name is Marla Franklyn and she is the best. Works at Sunnyside

Bought mine in December 2019. Brand new 2019 accord and 4 mo later the radio screen stopped working. Took it to the dealership I purchased it and they said they can’t do anything for me. They have to wait on an update from manufacturers. I’m beyond pissed bc they refuse to get me in bc of the lemon law. I e been paying for 3 months for a car that I can’t use my radio in and my backup camera and other features doesn’t work in. I’m leasing it and to top it off they’re trying to charge me $1000 to return the car. Idk what to do

I am having this same issue for my 2019 honda accord. I would have numerous accounts when the infotainment system would go out on me when driving **apparently this is a sign that something is already wrong**. I've had an aftermarket sub and amp prior and everything worked fine. I later took out the sub and amp, a day later the screen no longer works. Honda is blaming this issue on me due to the aftermarket work. Just an FYI if you have a sub or amp installed and your radio goes out don't bring it to Honda, they won't touch your car audio since now it's out of warranty. I've taken a look at each fuse, all of them look good. I have even pulled the audio unit out, nothing seems to be wrong. I have read the usual fix is just getting another head unit which is like 200-1000 bucks online depending if you buy it used or oem. Do not see how this fixes anything or if it will even fix the problem. The sservice manager at Honda told me there is a fuse behind the head audio unit and there isn't. Now I have a car with no backup camera or radio. Also the USBs don't work either. The light around the USB works but it does not have any power going to it. Anyone else know a good fix or has ran into this issue?

I have a 2019 Honda Accord. I had a aftermarket sub and amp installed, tapped into speaker wire. Everything worked good, no problems. I did have the occasional issues of the system freezing and restarting like everyone has mentioned. Today I disconnected my aftermarket sub because I am trying to sell the car. After disconnecting everything, now the stereo is blank. USB lights are lit up but not charging my phone. I have pulled all of my fuses and nothing seems to be burnt out. I even pulled out my head unit, why? Honda dealership told me there is a fuse behind the infotainment system that may have blew, no fuse. I am curious to know if it can just be my Infotainment screen clunked out? All other features in the car work fine.

Anybody found a fix for this yet. Same thing happened to my 2019 1.5 sport. And I’ve changed the infotainment screen and still nothing. It’s not getting any power there. I’ve checked with my multimeter.

I entered a pothole and my Navigation screen blanked out. I managed to decouple the radio from the screen and coupled it back, and that solved the problem.

2016 Honda Accord EX-L coupe radio display panel blank, including screen above main panel. Same as previous user, there appears to be no power to radio panel or camera, thus I can not turn on radio, Map and all panel features. Any help is appreciated.

FYI. Pulling the audio fuse #22 under hood worked and reset the blank panel. All is good. Again this is for 2016 Accord EX-L. Unit will ask for radio code or option to press the radio power button fiver 2 seconds and you’re good. Thanks to all who commented on this topic. A service call would have cost some change.

Guru9RTD4G. I’ve done this twice on 2016 Accord EX-L and this works. Thank you very much. I wish there was a perm fix or Honda recall for this issue.
