Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My brake light and trac control light have gone on in my accord been like that
for about a week, intermittent and now my check engine light is on? The car
seems to run fine and I really don't have the money to take it in to the Honda
dealer because they will charge me an arm and a leg just to look at.  Any

Take it to an Autozone or your local parts store and see if they will read the error codes with their scanner. In most cases, all 3 lights will illuminate even though there really is no problem with the brakes or trac system. They just illuminate so you will not damage the system due to whatever caused the check engine light to come on. Once you get the codes read, post them back here and someone will look up that part that needs to be replaced.
