09 malibu transmission dipstick

I am sorry to say....there isn't one. There is a service port (a plug like you would find in an old transfercase or rear differential.) that you fill the trans till fluid flows out of the hole. GM did away with transmission dipsticks in the early part of the 90's. They say the transmission fluid should not be serviced by unauthorized persons. The easiest way I have found is drop the pan and drain all fluid, then re-fill with 7 quarts of new fluid.
The real question is do you have the 4-speed or the 6-speed automatic transmission in your vehicle. If you are attempting to check the fluid because you think it is shifting weird, with the 6-spd, than look no further. The shifting characteristics of the 6-spd are completely different than what most people are used to.

I must have two rare collectors items because I have a transmission dipstick in my 2000 S10 and my 2006 Rendezvous! And, I changed the transmission filters on both and refilled in the transmission dipstick tube! I'll sell you both collectors items for a million bucks! Any takers?
I also have a 2009 Malibu and it also has a dip stick and I have a 3.6 automatic
It's on the front when you open the hood right down on right when you look down
Has anyone tried shit thing an 09 3.6 trans with an 2010 trans? What are the differences and what would I have to do to make it work?
