cheap gas flex fuel vehicle

I have a flex fuel vehicle and sometimes use e-15 gas but mostly 87. for the first time yesterday, I used e-85 in it. This morning, I had several warning lights flashing alternately, lost power steering, speed limit reading, got low fuel warning, etc. After I turned car off and back on, check engine light was on with code of "control module communication bus A off". Could this have been caused by the "cheap" gas?

Your car may not be Flex Fuel! Fill it up with premium and use up that E85 crap and it should start running better.
