CX-7 engine stutters when floored at 60 kmph
My end 2009 Mazda CX-7 with a 2.3 litre petrol engine + turbo stutters
when I floor it while moving around 60 kmph.
The engine is alright even if I floor it from rest. It's also alright if I step on
the gas pedal till about 95% while moving at 60 kmph.
Does the engine need more torque/power when floored while moving at 60
kmph compared to being floored from rest?
Things that I can think of are spark plugs, petrol filter/pump and air filter.
The one thing that I'm hoping is not the problem is the turbo.
I've heard that the CX-7 has a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and jerking
while accelerating is one of the symptoms. However, the other symptoms
are not present. http://www.carboncleaningusa.com/throttle-position-

Any idea what is causing this problem? Would the Mazda service centre be
able to trouble-shoot the problem through engine diagnostics alone?
I hope that they won't give me a list of possibilities which would mean that I
have to change multiple components one by one.
