Why does my 09 equinox still ovdrheat?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

problem with my 09 equinox its overheating checked
water pump (is working), checked thermostat (is working),
we burped it, and still is overheating. Can someone please
give me a hand. I dont know what else 2 check. Its got oil
just changed it. We just bought it and haven't drove it but 3
to 4 days

Check the coolant cap, also are the radiator fans coming on?

If the cap is good and the fans r coming on then have the catalytic converter or converters and muffler ckecked.

Is it overheating at idle or slow speed driving? Or is it overheating at higher, expressway speeds? Jim
