Will they build it?

I've had a 2009 Suburban on order for months (the 2008 order was cancelled).  My local dealer cannot even get GM to tell them when (if?) they are going to build 2009 Suburbans.  Any word out there?

GM has scaled back production on all vehicles, most recently because of the credit crunch. SUVs and other full-size trucks were scaled back some months ago (during the American Axle strike I believe). I doubt very much that GM would cease production on this vehicle, particularly after the large investment they made in re-vamping the full-size truck line (GMT-900 I think), but your guess is a good as mine.
