no i will probally have to drop the tank for that wont it
It appears the fuel filter and pump are together on the 7th gen maxima and both are located in the fuel tank. Here is a link to the info on the maxima forums. http://maxima.org/forums/7th-generation-maxima-2009/648371-fuel-filter.html
i took my back seat out and i see like a cap to where it may be to the tank will anything happen if i unscrew it
Ive never changed one thats located inside the tank, I would check the Maxima forums and see if theres a how to write up on changing the pump and filter, that way you can see if your comfortable in changing it out your self or if you rather take it to a mechanic. Also where there any check engine lights or issues with the car before its no start issue? if so I would read the codes wih a code reader to see if that pin points the issue more clearly, before spending the money on changing the pump and filter.
ok ill try and check on that n yes check engine been on for the longestb but the night it messed up i had drove it work fine no problems and i got off work it crunk for like 10 seconds and cut back off and just been turning off since
You could check you fuel pump relay too, it should be located under the hood. Your owners manual should show exactly where its located in the engine compartment.
