If no power to primary circuit that feed PCM, vehicle cranks but no start. Check PCM relay in fuse box under hood. Relay failure caused intermittent stalling and miss, then complete shut down. $11.00 fix, swap relay with A/C relay to test relay condition.

Under the hood are 2 fuel shut-off sensors: one near the battery and the other on the driver side wheel cowling (black boxes). If these were jolted in any way, your fuel pump is shut down. In the trunk on the driver side sidewall there's a switch to turn the pump back on.

IF you replaced the LF fender....did you reattach the 2 wires near the hood hinge that fascinate to the inner wall of the fender? I tried to move the car before completing the reassembly...crank-no- start....until I reattached those 2 wires.

I have a 2000 crown Victoria that won't start. It spins over but won't crank up. I tired pulling a code reader on it and I'm not getting any power to the ECM. I even bought a new computer and it still does that same thing. I changed the crank sensor as well. Yes everything fuse is good under the hood and under the dash. If anybody has a clue what u think it is please let me know.

On my 01 grand marq, the engine cranked but fuel pump wasn't doing anything. Cause? My Ignition key's black plastic part broke disabling the chip and thus the fuel pump. Problem? if your 01' Grand Marq. ignition key has a chip (mine did), and the key is cracked, dropped in liquid or otherwise not working, the engine will crank but the 2001 grand marquis fuel pump will not work. Solution: After a tow and 2 hrs of troubleshooting , tried the backup key - works fine.

I have the same issue I replace the intake manifold the spark plugs and the coils also replace battery and the cam sensor and crank sensor and my fuel pump is definitely powering on cuz I can hear it what am I missing I have a 2005 police interceptor crown Victoria it cranks but won't start.

Did you pull the hood at any point? There are grounding straps that MUST be re-attached or no-go. NO CLUE why the hood would need to be grounded...but it does. Don't know why the hinges don't provide ground....but they don't. That's all I know....that's what happened to mine.
