Can anyone tell please if they have had the same problem with the car while
on and in idle it suddenly just turning off.  When I tried turn it back on it was
completely dead, no life at all.  I gave it a minute and it started back.  This is
very sacarey and I just want to know if anyone has had this problem and
found out what the problem was and if you were able to fix it. Please help if
you know what is wrong. Thanks!

I found the answer to my question. The problem was with the throttle body sensor had become lose due it being lose. A small piece of plastic that keeps it in place was broken off and everytime the care would vibrate it would cause the sensor to become loose, and the engine would shut off. We replace it with a new GM Sensor Kit which includes the clips to snap it on. I hope that if anyone else is experiencing this scarey problem they first check out the THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR.
