Works off and on; cooling delayed

When the compressor was replaced, the mechanic damaged the connector between the electrical and the compressor resulting in a loose connection that could move so that sometimes it was touching and making a connection and sometimes not (explaining why sometimes the AC worked and sometimes it didn't). They squeezed the two pieces together with pliers and the air conditioning has worked great since then. They tell me it will NEVER come apart now. Hopefully they are right. It's been a few weeks.
