the Black logo remote for 2009 prius not working suddenly

suddenly the lock and unlock of my Prius 2009 by the BK remote stopped not
work so i used mechanical key to open door and when i press on the bk
remote button the red light is on . after that i replaced the FOB battery but
nothings new for open doors
can you help me what problem and how i can solve it

sometimes the "lock button" sticks on these remotes. You may have to purchase a new remote, and get it programmed. If you live in South Florida, I can help.

ExHybrid is correct. My 2005 Prius keyless remote quit working and a Toyota dealer advised me that the center button sticks under its rubberized covering. He removed the protective rubber cover and the entry key has been working ever since! (but keep it out of the rain)
