Is there a way to update my navigation software without taking it to the dealership? They want $130! Thanks

set of discs for 48 States...$130 and that only is available for up to 2010. Your dealer is treating you well if they will update it all the way to present for 130 bucks. Even if it is not the disc king, the software (they call discs firmware) is $100 to get you the full year 2012.
