clunking noise under my car after the brake pads, caliper and rotor changed.

Asked by liefie19 May 24, 2014 at 03:38 AM about the 2009 Honda Civic

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my front brake pads, caliper and rotors are recently changed and i have noticed that
after it has been changed i hear a clunking sound under the drivers side when i hit a
pothole or when i drive on rough roads but if i tap on the brakes it does't make the
sound. i went back to the shop and complained about it but they said it was not
something they have done. they said it may be my shocks. but i really think its
something related with the brakes

I wouldn't think that it would be the brakes. I would be more apt to look at the suspension parts.
