1998 honda civic

I have a 1998 honda civic, i blow the headgasket and over heated it some, i replaced the
gasket and it started fine, i drove it 6 miles shutting it off at 3 miles and it started right up
but when i got home it wouldnt start and stay running. also replaced spark pplug wires
and distributer....any ideas?

you would more likely warp the head. look at your coolant overflow and see if it bubbles and unplug your pcv and feel the end of it when its running. if you feel air and oil like a decent amount coming through your pcv or your coolant is bubbliing then yeah your head is warped or your headgasket is fucked. is it making any weird sounds??
