does the radio have a fuse in it?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Radio blows domelite fuse, trying to bypass fusebox but straight to battery made wires
very hot smoky and now radio  won't power up. Can you run radio straight off batt?
Lookslike continuos power wire for radio shares fuse with domelite. Domelite. works fine
until connect radio and fuse blows.
