How do I change the low beam headlight

If you open the hood the hood there should be screws where the headlights are that you can remove after which you should be able to pull out the whole light assembly. Once you do that you can remove the back of the assembly and change the bulbs. I have heard that it's harder to get to the driver side bulbs than the passenger side. Only other advice i can think of is to get a Chilton Manual from the library or auto store. It has diagrams of how to absolutely anything to your car. It will definitely pay for itself over time.
If you are meaning a 1996 Honda Accord XL Sedan model, the low beam lights are not screwed in - that would be the high beams. the low beams can be reached on either side of the inside of engine compartment pretty easily. The low beams are upper area, you will need to remove the cold air intake from the left side - easy, then just look inside there to see the bulb area. There should be black rings that you will need to move 1/4 counter clockwise to release the "lock" then pull out the light/wire assembly, the light should easily separate from the clip in wire assy. when you replace the light, do not touch the glass bulb area - oil from the skin will stay on the glass area and when the light gets hot, it will burst - so use a paper towel or nitrile gloves just don't touch the new bulb when you are installing it. the bulb assy will fit in only one way - it has a recess area that sort of clips into position. when putting back into the headlight - it will only go in one way, look to see to align up correctly to place back in, once back in place, lock in position by turning the black ring 1/4 clockwise. replace the cold air intake back in position. With the high beams - you will need to take out the battery to get to one, the other one may require coming from the underside and definitely the parking (amber) will need to be done from the underside. I just did mine - it's not that hard even for a girl.
