Can you have a 4cyl hood for a v6 engine? or would it over heat?

don't see why the engine size would effect the hood size. It wouldn't cause it to overheat.
same problem man. 96 v6 honda accord hood is very hardto find my mechanic estimated 700 bucks and he will find one and install it :/
Should be the exact same thing. Same car, different engine- meaning the body parts are all the same. Only thing that's different is probably the emissions sticker underneath the hood. Otherwise, go for it!
I recall A friend needing to replace a hood on a v6 and he found out the front of the v6 is slightly wider than the 4cyl. hood and fenders do not match up.
Honda does wierd things with body pieces. Ive also experianced tail lights that dont match up because of trim level. Wierd crap. Go junk yard hunting.
the mid 90's accords honda made the nose roughly 1.5 " longer on the v6 so body parts aren't interchangeable.
The hood on my 95 accord with a v6 is 2 inches longer than the same car with a 4 cyc. I have tried to put one init. Bolts and fits exactly except for the length. Th v6 hood also uses hydraulic supports the 4 cyc uses the old metal prop rod. They look so close externally it's not funny. You have to measure them to tell the difference
The 95 hood is bigger than 4 cyl hood so it won't fit
I called and spoke with Honda today regarding hoods , the v6 and a 4 cylinder motor have the same hood model #.
