94 Honda Civic rough acceleration and stalling outapon acceleration

Asked by Eric Oct 18, 2015 at 11:17 PM about the 1994 Honda Civic

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 94 Honda Civic that baugs down when you push the gas too much, sometimes stalls out when leaving a stop or putting it in gear. Drives ok on level ground but hesitates and bogs down on any incline. What could the problem be? I have already checked the distributor, fuel filter, spark plugs, and injectors.

It may be the crankshaft position sensor if the CEL is on pull the codes, this may or may not point you in the right direction
