I lost oil compression..how do I fix this problem?

the car acts like it wants to start but when it gets to the highest point..it chokes.

i would check compression in the engine first , if you ran it out of oil for awhile then the motor might not be in to good of shape, even if you ran it low for a long time that will also cause the engine to go bad , not only does the oil lube the engine , but it also helps to keep the engine cool , so it depends on how long you ran it low oil.
