Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Honda 93 Civic 1.5 I replaced the fuel
pump and the sensor for the fuel. My car will not
start some days. It sounds like it wants too though.
Iv had my buddy come out and check it out that
Day it started up just fine and he said their are no
problems. And he doesn’t know why it won’t start
up. He said it could be a distributor. Because when
they go out the car will start up irregularly. Idk what
to do I need help

he may be referring to an ignition module , thats worth a try ,what do the plugs look like ? look for motor to chassis ground and fuel pump ground

So just an update on the car if you wanted to know. I changed out the fuel filter. And now my car starts every time no problem. It is idling high so I’ll be fixing that. Thank you
