Obligations during purchase process

No one is going to ship a car to you so you can take a test drive. Some companies like Carvana will SELL you a car and if you don't like it they will take it back but you get charged for the delivery. READ THE FINE PRINT!

drive or fly out to see it first, then drive it back. You will have to pay for the shipping. But personally I would wait till one is available for sale locally.
I would suggest test driving the same vehicle locally as you're thinking about buying. If you like that one have the out of state vehicle inspected by a professional inspection company. Because once you buy the vehicle and have it shipped to you, it's yours! Hope that helps! Jim
