My car keeps overheating and someone told me i had to bleed it or it was going to keep getting hot. How do you bleed it?

Bleeding it means getting any air trapped in the cooling system out. Your best bet is to find a mechanic to do this for you or do a "google" search for burping the cooling system on the model and year of your car. I would guess there will be a video on YouTube showing how to do this on your car. There are different procedures for different cars.
Did you do any work on the cooling system? Did it run low on coolant and you had to add some? If you did nothing and the coolant is topped up you don't have a air problem, maybe stuck thermostat or head gasket problem
