never know how much gas I have

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I first bought the car, I was able to put $30 in the tank. The needle has never
moved. When I try to put enough to move the needle, I end up putting too much in, and
overfilling.

fuel sender unit sounds knackered replace if there not expensive if they are use a volt sender unit on it to see if there is a broken connection hope this helps regards rich
