how do I change from km's to mph in a chevy equinox

It is done through the DIC according to the owners manual. Press the MENU button until Vehicle Information Menu is displayed. Then scroll down to "Unit". Press SET/CLR to enter the unit menu. Then press up or down to switch between METRIC or US when the Unit display is active. Press SET/CLR to confirm the setting. This will change the displays on the cluster and DIC to either metric or English (US) measurements.
